Oh how on earth could it happen here?
In America, of all places?
“That’s easy,” said the Liar,
“I’ll bait hatred, citing races.”
But our country is a melting pot,
By all the world’s perception!
“Then I’ll wage war on Truth itself,
I’m the master of deception.”
Yet don’t we have good people,
On each political side?
“No problem,” said the Liar,
“To conquer, I’ll divide.”
But we’ve far too much in common,
To be pitted each vee each.
“I’ll fix that,” said The Liar,
“When I manipulate your speech.”
“I’ll call it ‘political correctness,’
Let the downward spiral commence!
The upright man I’ll render mute
And trembling for fear of offense.
I’ll focus your attention,
On the injustice that you see.
And shift all blame in historic reframe,
To accuse those whom oppose me!
Next I’ll infiltrate and capture,
All your storied institutions;
I’ll own your world leaders,
Who’ll steal trillions through resolutions.
My great feat: Dupe the masses;
Mind poison disguised as good,
Trad age-old wisdom: evil,
Mein kourtesy, Hollywood.
So sleep on slaves! I’ll be waiting.
Pay no attention if things seem odd,
For my clever orchestration,
Has pitted proud man against God.
And be sure to watch my media,
For ‘what you need to know.’
For safe and woke, put on my yoke;
My unwitting subject below.
At first you just won’t see it,
Despite strong premonitions.
For I’ll distort clear language,
Transforming words’ definitions.
I tell you, do not to stop and turn,
To Him who made all things.
For His pure love lifts you high above,
And joyful redemption brings.
And He can stop me in my tracks,
Sowing peace and prosperity.
Let’s not go there! I prefer despair…
Plus you’ve not the temerity!
No! Join my resistance,
To defend our Demon-cracy.
It’s Him we resist; His ways are fascist!
