A New World

A New World well captured by Liars;

What we think of as known is all wrong.

Pre-planned and forewritten ‘exclusives,’

Serve to string the poor public along.

For the ride is bumpy precarious,

The path is wicked and wide.

The headlines misleading; nefarious,

Beckon us toward the dark side.

Of the moon palest light is extending,

Glossy glimpses of faces we know.

Warm wet whispers of woven webs winnowed,

Woke winds change, cough and choke in mid blow.

The man down is not out by a long shot.

Surest aid grace from heaven is sent;

Dry bones set to rattle breathe cry out for battle!

To our long-lineaged Liars’ lament.
